Assassins Creed PC Video Game Review

Step Into the Shoes of the Assassin

The theme of most video games since the dawn of time has been based around killing people. Mostly it has been mindless violence, but Assassin’s Creed actually gave it a purpose and a long winded explanation. For those who enjoy a story, the creed is definitely the way to go and a great form of quality entertainment.

Why Buy the Video Game Assassins Creed for PC Computers?

This game takes you to two different time periods. The first worth noting is Desmond. He is a man in the near future who has been taken captive by a strange organization that seems to want his genetic memory. They will extract this memory through the use of a device known as the ‘Animus’. This is a high tech, and very sophisticated device, and a lot of trouble has been put into it.

Through Desmond’s genetic memory, we meet a man named Altair who was an Assassin in the ancient middle east. He belongs to a group of Assassins, and he follows a creed. Lately though he has been throwing the creed aside and following his own ways, a choice that will soon prove to be quite deadly.

Through his misdeeds, Altair destroys his reputation, and nearly ends up with the blood of a friend on his hands. His return to the creed sparks a story that players will remember for many years, and on Desmond’s end more and more story elements develop, bringing players to a climax that they will never forget.

Not only does this game introduce story elements that have never been seen before, it also features a new control scheme that allows for more immersion than ever before.

The acrobatics are realistic, and some players might find themselves losing their stomachs as they see Altair plummeting from the highest steeples only to end up safely in a nearby haystack.

There is an open world to explore, and when you are tired of that you can venture into one of the many realistically recreated cities such as Jerusalem or Acre.

  • Each city has different objectives that you will be able to tackle in any order you choose, and after a time you will be able to get around with these travel tips, saving yourself some very valuable time.

This game has been ported to the PC, 360, and PS3. There are also a few side stories such as Altair Chronicles for the Nintendo DS and Bloodlines for the Sony PSP. Though the story continues, you will no doubt be able to find hours and hours of fun just playing the original adventure.

  • Just beware that the end of the game is a bit tough, perhaps tougher than anything you have ever played in the past.

If this sounds appealing to you, then pick up a copy today and live the adventure that is Assassin’s Creed.
